Parish Church

Newport was originally a Chapelry of the ancient parish of Carisbrooke.

The Parish (CofE) Church is Saints Thomas, Newport, which can be found here on Google Street View.

Parish Registers

"A History of the County of Hampshire: Volume 5" (pub 1912) simply notes "the registers date from 1541".
