Location

Christ Church, Hoxton is an Ecclesiastical Parish created in 1841 from the north part of the Ecclesiatical Parish of Hoxton (St John) in the south-east of the county of Middlesex.

Christ Church is approximately three miles north-east of the City of London.

Parish Church

The current Parish (CofE) Church was Christ Church, consecrated in 1839. The parish was reunited with St. John, Hoxton in 1953.

To the south was the Ancient Parish of Shoreditch and the long established Ecclesiastical Parish of Old Street St Luke.

The the west was the long established Ecclesiastical Parish of Old Street St Luke and the ancient parish of Islington (St Mary).

To the north was the ancient parish of Islington (St Mary), Ball's Pond, and West Hackney.
