East Pennard, Somerset
Location
East Pennard lies in the Mendip Hills area of the eastern portion of Somerset. It is about 4 miles north west of Castle Cary and 5 miles south of Shepton Mallet. For additional information, please see Wikipedia:East PennardParish Church

In Philimore's "Somerset Parish Registers: Marriages Volume 14", four early registered with marriage entries are noted -(1) covers the period 1608 to 1747, with a gap from 1654 to 1662 (2) contains the entries for 1654 to 1662 missing from (1). (3) commences in 1747 and was superseded in 1755 as far as marriages are concerned. (4) commences in 1755 and is "the usual book of printed forms".
