Boxgrove, Sussex

Location

Boxgrove in located in the south west of West Sussex. The village lies to the south of the parish of the same name. Parish Church

The Parish (CofE) Church is the former Priory Church of St Mary and St Blaise, Boxgrove, which can be glimpsed here on Google Street View.

Parish Registers

"A History of the County of Sussex: Volume 4" (pub 1953) simply notes 'The registers begin in 1561.'

Adjacent (Pre 1832) Parishes

To the east Boxgrove is bounded by Eartham & Aldingbourne.   Tangmere lies to the south, with Oving to the south west.   To the west is Westhampnett, with Singleton and East Dean to the north.
