West Bromwich (Holy Trinity), Staffordshire

Location

West Bromwich is an ancient parish located in the south of the county of Staffordshire. Now a large market town, it grew during the industrial revolution from a rural village due to the local availability of both ironstone and coal.

West Bromwich is approximately six miles north west of Birmingham and Dudley in Worcestershire is about four miles to the west. The cathedral city of Lichfield is approximately 16 miles to the north north east and historic county town of Stafford is about twenty-five miles to the north.

The original ancient parish in West Bromwich was All Saints from which a number of Ecclesiastical Parishes where created over time, including Holy Trinity which was created in 1841. It is also historically referred to as Trinity Church.
