Oldbury, Worcestershire
Location
Oldbury is an ancient parish located in the north of the county of
Worcestershire abutting
Staffordshire.
Oldbury is approximately five miles west of
Birmingham and
West Bromwich, Staffordshire is two miles to the north east and
Bromsgrove thirteen miles to the south and
Stourbridge about eight miles to the south west. The historic county town of
Worcester is about twenty-five miles to the south south west.

The present location of the historic Parish Registers has not yet been determined. Administrative responsibility for Oldbury has changed several times as a consequence of successive local government reorganisations. It is probable they are part of the "Faith Collection" held by the Archives Service of Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council. See
