Research Notes
Ussery researchers indicate that Ila's maiden name may have been Ussery, but no confirmation has been discovered. She is believed to have been a sister of Princess Ann Ussery Reaves. Ila was age 25, GA, in 1850. Calvin J. Ussery was in HH 1152, Malachi Ussery in HH 1153, and Robert Ussery in HH 1154. These people were living in the area later known as Bacon Level in southeastern Randolph County.
