The 1850 Halifax County, Virginia census shows a 65 year old unmarried Mildred Reaves living in the next residence to those of Elijah Reaves and his son Elijah, Jr. The only other member of Mildred's household is 35 year old Mildred Wilson who is likely a niece, daughter of William and Polly Reaves Wilson.
