That Samuel B. Reavis son of Thomas and Elizabeth is the same as the Samuel B. Reavis of Maury County is based on Maury County records. He appears in the 1827 Maury County tax list and his estate was inventoried in Maury County 13 Dec 1832 (p58). An additional inventory was taken on 16 Jun 1834, noting that "Three shares of his Father's Estate said Estate is willed to Elizabeth Reavis during her natural life" (p177). In a later list of insolvent notes of the estates includes notes on Henry W. Revis, Elizabeth Reavis and Lewis Reavis (p245).
