Narrative

Although Jane is not named in her father's will, her mother gave permission for her marriage.

A court suite was filed between 1796 and 1798 involving Jane by her stepfather Edward Jones. Jonathan Reeves was appointed her guardian for the suit; Joshua Reeves was paid for coming 18 miles for the suit and John Gill and Jesse Reeves were paid for coming 12 miles.
