In 1850, there is a widow, Hannah, born c1784 in the household with him. This is his mother, the widow of Gabriel Reeve. In a deed from 1835 recorded in Scioto County, Ohio, Hannah Reeve of the County of Putnam in Illinois sold some land to James Powers. Bureau County was founded from Putnam.

PRINCETON, ILL. April 13. - Tracy Reeve, one of the early settlers of Bureau County, died at his home in this city at 3 o'clock this afternoon, aged 87 years. He was President of the Citizens' National Bank of Princeton from its organization. He leaves a widow, two sons and one daughter.

Princeton, Ill. Jan 3. - Mrs. Sarah Bryant Reeve, wife of the late millionaire, Tracy Reeve, and niece of William Cullen Bryant, died at her home in this city early this morning at the advanced age of seventy-two years. The funeral will be held on Sunday, the interment being at La Moille. Mrs. Reeve was a resident of this county since 1834, having come here from Cummington, Mass., a few months after her marriage.

There appear to be two couples the same age living in his household in 1840. Perhaps a siblings family.
