Note that while several records state he was born in 1920, the 1930 census lists him as 8 years old.Although the parents of Alvin's father Nathan Reeves are unknown, Y-DNA establishes that he descends from the Reeve(s) family of George Reeve of Prince William County, Virginia. That descendant's Y-DNA is a match to members of DNA Group 10 whose members are documented as part of that family.
