Estimable Lady Dies.
Friends were grieved to learn of the death on Tuesday last at her home in the Flint Ridge section of Mrs. Anabel Whitley, wife of Sidney Whitley. She was 18 years of age and is survived by her husband and one daughter about 14 months old. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Reeves, of the Flint Ridge section of the county and a grand-daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Criminger, of the same section. Mrs. Whitley was a consistent member of Center Grove Baptist Church. Burial was at Laurel Hill Cemetery near Kershaw on Wednesday following her death, the funeral services being conducted by Rev. Mr. Byrd pastor of the Center Grove Church.
