An 1838 deed from Overton County, Tennessee shows this is the same Arthur Reeves of Overton County. In it, Arthur Rieves "of the County of Clinton and State of Kentucky" bought eighty-four acres of land from Nathan Morgan." (DB J, p351). Arthur bought 45 acres in Overton County, Tennessee from John M. Pierce in September of 1840 (DB J, p79). He then sold about 150 acres to Abraham Cross in 1846 (DB K, p 360). There are several deeds for David P. Reeves in Overton County as well, so it appears he was there for some time as well.
