Children of Freeborn Reeves and Mary Peach:- William Reeves, b. c4 May 1746
Among the Essex County, Massachusetts Probate papers is the following:
Freeborne Reeves of Salem son of Freeborne Reeves of Salem Dec a minor of sixteen years: do make choice of Samuel Follon of ? town to be my guardian to act on my behalf for my Interest boath for my self & my estate in all things according to law during my minority & to ? act thereof to ? Judgeg of Probate as wittness myu hand this 24th Feb 1732 Freeborn reeves
Garrett Felton
In a deed from Nov 1739, Freeborn Reeves deeded Cockerill Reeves land "whereof my Hon Grandfather William Reeves late of Salem aforesaid Mason died seized." This would have to be the younger Freeborn since the elder was deceased by 1732. However birth records show the elder Freeborn was a son of John, so William was his great-grandfather, not grandfather.
In 1773, Freeborn, Mary, and other Peach heirs deeded some estate land to Elizabeth Peach.
