Narrative

There is no mention of Harbard Reeves after the 1850 census of Izard County, Arkansas. He is not named as an heir and legatee in any of the probate files for his father and siblings in Kansas. The listing of the heirs of Terrell Reeves filed in Enoch Reeves' petition to administer the estates of Terrell and Gaston Reeves dated 6 June 1859 does not name Harbard. Neither is he included in the listing for the final settlement dated 15 Nov 1862 of the heirs of Terrell Reeves. It is likely that he may have died in the same 1859 incident which caused the deaths of his father and brother Gaston.
