Hugh H. Reeves was head of household in Pike Co., GA, in 1870. Living next to him were Wiley and Rebecca Story, age 63 and 60, natives of NC and GA. The 1900 census showed that the couple had been married for 34 years. Seven of the eight children born to them were then alive. Son Jesse C. Reeves was shown in an adjacent household, living with his aunt Emily Story, who had been shown with Wiley and Rebecca Story in 1870.
