Isaac Newton Reeves, Jr. married in Stewart County, Georgia and is found there listed as "Newton" with wife Angeline in the 1860 census (next neighbor is Lawson Reeves with wife Caroline and children).

There is a J. (sic I?) Newton Reeves listed as a soldier in the 31st Georgia Co. G. (Stewart county unit) who was wounded and captured at Cedar Creek on October 19th 1864. He died a little later in a Yankee hospital.
