John Reeves was named as a child of Benjamin Reeves in the biography of his brother Benjamin F. Reeves published in the history of Rush County, Indiana.John Reeves bought land in Haywood County, Tennessee in 1834 and apparently died there. His siblings sold everything to John Ingram and some others.
The accounting of the estate of John Reeves by Joab Wilson in Haywood County is dated 30 Mar 1835.
In 1838, John Ingram of Madison County, Tennessee sold all his title and interest in the estate of John Reeves late of Haywood County to Joab Wilson.
The "heirs of John Reives" is listed in the 1836 tax list for Haywood County.
