Narrative
Children of Rennie Bromet Reeves and unknown wife:- James Reeves, b. 1845
- Sarah "Sallie" Reeves, b. 1846
- Mary Ellen Reeves, b. 1848-1852 (age varies in each census 1850-1870)

- Missouri Reeves, b. 1858
In the census record of 1870 of Bartholomew Township in Jefferson County AR, Rennie's wife Lucinda was not listed which may have been an error of omission by the census taker because she was living in 1899. There are also only 3 children listed in the household - Ellen age 19 (probably Mary E. of earlier census), George age 17 and and John age 15. Additionally there is a William Gwin, farmer age 25, and William Reeves, black age 13 who may have been a slave prior to the Civil War, listed as members of the household.
On the 15th of July, 1899 in Harris County, Texas, Rennie's widow Lucinda filed for a widow's pension based upon his Civil War service. In her affadavit, she gave the date of his death as October 1872.
Research Notes
The oldest children of Rennie Bromet Reeves were born prior to his marriage to Lucinda Markham in 1850 and it is possible that he had been married before.Sources
