Thomas' baptism on 29 May 1772 is recorded in the registers of the Parish Church of St Nicholas, Sandhurst, Kent and note his mother's burial on 13 Jan 1772 in adjacent Bodiam, Sussex.

Thomas REEVES and Ann AYEARST where married during August 1791 at the Parish Church of St Laurence at Hawkhurst, Kent.
The known children of Thomas Reeves and his wife Ann (nee AYEARST) are

In his 1838 will, Thomas Reeves of Benenden names "my sons Edward Ayerst Reeves Thomas Reeves the younger Francis Reeves and ..Richard Reeves and to my daughter Ann Reeves." He also mentions his sister Mary Busbridge and nephews Sthzy? Reeves, Thomas Reeves and Samuel Reeves. He later names "all my children Edward Ayerst Reeves Thomas Reeves the younger Francis Reeves Richard Reeves Jane Reeves and Ann Reeves." The will was proven 8 May 1838.
