The only historical record found in Maury County to date is the estate file of 1845. His brother James Rieves was the administrator of his estate. The estate records identify only the two daughters, Purity E. and Lucy A. Rieves. His brother-in-laws William Flanigan and Henry Baker are both mentioned in the file.
