Albert Rives was born about 1807 in Davidson county, Tennessee, where he resided throughout his life until his death from cholera on June 13, 1849.
The 1840 census lists him incorrectly as "Alfred P. Reaves" in Davidson County, with two sons and two daughters. His wife Elizabeth "Reives" and four children are listed in the 1850 census in Davidson County as well.
Research Notes
Nashville City Cemetery Records in Davidson County show he was buried the 13 Jun 1849 and died of Cholera. According to the 1850 Mortality Schedule, Albert P. Rives, age 44 and born in Virginia, died in June after having Cholera for 1 day.Sources
