Although countless online sources show Green Dukes as the spouse of Edmond, his marriage bond shows that Green Dukes was the bondsman, not the bride. Family researchers give marriage to Nancy Ransom on 24 Feb 1798 in Warren County, North Carolina.

Edmond and his brother Nathan are both listed on the Georgia Tax Digest of Greene County, 1804-1806.

Edmond won the Georgia Land Lottery in 1805 for land in Wilkinson County. That grant was dated 12 Jun 1806.

Emond sold his land in Greene County in 1807.

Patrick Reeves/Rives book references a pay stub indicating that William b 1748 (Edmond's father) served in the revolutionary war. He also found a deed including the names of Edmond (as a witness) and William his father on the same deed in Bute/Franklin NC.
