Paul Lee Rives, 78, of 1723 Churchill Way, died Tuesday in a city rest home. Services are pending with Guardian Funeral Home. Rives was born in Carrollton IL and came to Oklahoma City 12 years ago. He was a retired maintenance man at Tulsa University. Survivors include his wife, Iva and son, Darrell, of the home; two sisters, Mrs Jesse King and Mrs Lacy Gimme (Lucy Gimmy), of Carrollton IL; and a brother, Fred, of Weslaco TX.

WWI Draft Card says he was born in 1884. Most records state 1886. He was probably trying to pass as older for the draft. The World War II Draft Card states 1887. 1900 census and headstone state 1886.
