Changes to Login and Logout - 18 July 2011

What's not Changing?

Lets do the easy bit first. Your username and password will not be changing.

What's Changing?

The Login button and the associated fields for User: and Password: will be moving from the Login bar on the right hand side of the site Mast Head to within the body of the TRP_Home page.       You can see the proposed layout of the TRP_Home page by visiting
as an Anonymous user. Remember the TRP_Home page appears very different to a logged in user and an Anonymous user. To see the proposed change you must be logout.

When will it Change?

The change will be made in two stages. The TRP_Home page will be updated on Monday 18 July. Once you log in after this date, you will notice that a new logout button has appeared at the top of the left navigation column. Please get used to using the new Login button within the body of the TRP_Home page and the new Logout button in the left navigation column.

Two weeks later, on Monday 1 August, the Login bar will be removed from the site Mast Head if no difficulties are encountered and we're not expecting any!

Why Are We Doing This?

Registered users can read why we're making this change by logging in.

What do I need to do?

There is nothing you must do, but it would be a good idea to login at least once using the new Login button within the two week period just to assure yourself you can still access TRP.
