Wiki Stats - End September 2011
The total number of pages in the Wiki (as at 1 October 2011) has grown to 3648 (previously 3521, 3418, 3311), an increase of 127 pages. Of these 1296 pages (was 1248, 1220, 1181) begin with the letter R and are probably related to a R*v*s individual and 568 pages (537, 506, 479) begin with a number, so are probably a date related gleaning. We currently have 1277 wiki pages categorised as "People" of which 965 begin with the letter R.Become an Active Contributor
TRP continues to welcome new members to our growing community. To our newest members, who activated their account in September and who are perhaps reading a TRP Latest News page for the first time, welcome.As I reviewed the list this morning (4 October), I see we currently have 51 active user accounts, with a further six individuals who have created an account but have yet to activate that new account.
But it seems we have a big gulf between active user accounts and active users. The vast majority of the pages contributed during September were added by a small handful of community members. The content in TRP exists because people just like YOU care enough about adding to the collective knowledge of our Reeves ancestors.
As a new user, we realise getting to grips with an unfamiliar product such as the TikiWiki software which underpins TRP can be daunting. We were all new users once upon a time, but we overcame our fear and have helped to create the 3600+ pages of content you now see. You can do it, too! If there is some specific assistance or guidance you need to help you get started, then please contact your Mentors.
And please don't worry about making mistakes. We did and still do that too (it's how we learnt) and they can easily be put straight. A good place to start is with your AboutMe page, see FAQ_AboutMe.
