Wiki Stats - End July 2013

The total number of pages in the Wiki (as at 1 August 2013) now stands at 5549 (previously 5507, 5482, 5437), an increase of 42 pages during the past month. Of these 1141 pages (was 1134, 1133, 1121) begin with number and are most probably a date related gleaning. We currently have 2237 wiki pages categorised as "People", of which 1826 begin with the letter "R".
The modest increase in the headline number of new pages does not accurately reflect the level of activity over the past month.   Bev, in particular, has updated many existing gleaning pages to include wiki links to the individuals mentioned in the various deeds, wills etc which significantly enhances the richness of the content in TRP.

TRP Users

We ended JuneJuly with 126 user accounts on TRP, including 4 new members who successfully activated their account during the month. We welcome Rogers, Annette, Mike & Christopher and look forward to their contributions to The Reeves Project wiki.

Whilst TRP has always been a global collaboration, as a Brit, it was particularly pleasing to register both Mike & Christopher this month. One is resident in the US but has a relatively recent immigrant ancestor from Kent (where I now live) and the other is from the UK with an interest in Hampshire (where my Reeves tribe also come from). Seems those with a UK interest are a bit like London buses, you wait an age for one and then two (or more) come along together.
