Wiki Stats - End May 2015

The total number of pages in the Wiki (as at 1 June 2015) now stands at 6410 (previously 6381, 6254, 6185), an increase of 29 pages during the past month.   Of these 1278 pages (was 1275, 1273, 1273) begin with number and are most probably a date related gleaning. We currently have 2634 wiki pages categorised as "People", of which 2218 begin with the letter "R".

TRP Users

We ended May 2015 with 213 user accounts registered with TRP, with two new members successfully activating their account during the month. We welcome Rick and Sherri and look forward to their contributions to TRP.

TRP - Moving Along Series

For a long time now we've been encouraging new community members to look at our six part introductory series "TRP - First Steps" as a way of becoming acquainted with The Reeves Project. Whilst there have always been plans for further topics, they have been repeatedly deferred, in favour of chasing illusive ancestors.

Well, the wait is over. The first part of our "Moving Along" series was published during May. Whilst "Moving Along" pages will tend to be aimed at experienced community members, they will also provide additional background as to how we work within TRP for all of our more curious community members. Unlike "First Steps" which was designed to be followed sequentially from Step 1 to Step 6, it is anticipated that the majority of "Moving Along" pages will be free standing, with just a few major topics broken into smaller bite size pieces.

The initial Moving Along page aims to provide guidance to our mentors, moderators and experienced community members with respect to responding to queries and comments on a talk page. You'll find "Working With .. Talk Pages" at TRP_Moving_Along_Part_21. A second Moving Along page is nearly complete and there are vague plans for a third page before the summer is over.
