November 2015

Wiki Stats - End October 2015

The total number of pages in the Wiki (as at 1 November 2015) now stands at 6458 (previously 6450, 6444, 6440), an increase of 8 pages during the past month.     Of these 1281 pages (was 1280, 1280, 1280) begin with number and are most probably a date related gleaning.     We currently have 2654 wiki pages categorised as "People", of which 2238 begin with the letter "R".

Community members should log in to see the graph.
Our progress to having 6500 pages in the wiki has been slow the past few months. I'm hopeful that now the nights are drawing in here in the northern hemisphere things will pick up a little.

TRP Users

We ended October 2015 with 235 user accounts registered with TRP, an increase of five but with only one new member successfully activating their account during the month. We welcome Tim Reeves and look forward to his contributions to TRP. Tim is off to a good start, having already added his AboutMe page and is chatting to Mentor Team A.

Of the other four new accounts, one was activated this morning (1 Nov), the delay being entirely down to a senior moment by yours truly - sent the e-mail but forgot to add the intended recipient. Another is on a short term hold; as well as enrolling in TRP, this new member was married during the month. Congratulations to Helen from all of the TRP community. Its also been an international month for new members, with two living in the USA and one each in Australia, Holland and Switzerland.

A Reminder

I hate to tempt fate, but it’s been a while since I’ve used the monthly news to remind everybody of our companion Google Site. We occasionally use these news pages within TRP to convey information about any minor issues with The Reeves Project or about planned outages, so please do remember to review the the latest news on a regular basis. We have no planned outages at present, but the unexpected does occasionally happen.

To state the obvious, we can't use TRP itself to let you know what's going on (assuming we know ourselves), should we experience an unexpected outage.   So in addition to our home page http://thereevesproject.org/data/ you should ensure you also have a browser bookmark for https://sites.google.com/site/thereevesproject123/home, our companion Google Site, just in case of emergencies. You'll find further details on page wiki page TRP - Is It Down?.
