Happy New Year
We hope you had an enjoyable Christmas and wish you a Happy and Healthy 2017.The past twelve months saw our community grow by 27 new members and it is always heartening to see when you make your first tentative contributions to The Reeves Project. During the past year we've added just 201 new pages to the wiki, but many more pages have been updated as our knowledge of our Reeves folk grows.
2016 saw far less new pages created than in previous years and much of the new content was added by a handful of users. Excuse me if I vent a little frustration, but if each of our community members (yes, including you) would contribute just ONE page during 2017 we'd easily exceed last year's total. So how about a New Year's Resolution to add a page to TRP during January? If you need a reminder of how to, please take a look at our First Steps. On average 2500+ pages on TRP are viewed every day. You never know, your contribution might help find you a new cousin who can help knock down that brick-wall.
2016 also saw TRP more closely align with the Reeves DNA Project. We hope during 2017 to extend the DNA Pages within TRP to add value to both projects. If you've taken or sponsored a Y-DNA test, but you have yet to share your Reeves pedigree with us, we'd love to add it to TRP. You can always contact us via your Mentor Team's talk page.
Wiki Stats - End December 2016
The total number of pages in the Wiki (as at 1 January 2017) now stands at 6765 (previously 6754, 6743, 6735) an increase of 11 pages during the month. Of these 1322 pages (was 1320, 1319, 1319) begin with a number and are most probably a date related gleaning. We currently have 2805 wiki pages categorised as "People", of which 2381 begin with the letter "R".Community members should log in to see more.
