Narrative

Very little is known of Susanah Reeves other than the 1816 will of George Reeves and the 1823 probate records of her own estate in Wilson County, Tennessee. The administrator of Susanah's estate was her brother, Jeremiah. Among the assets of her estate were notes due from her brother Jeremiah and a Burwell Reeves whose family relationship was unstated.

In addition to Jeremiah and Burwell named as buyers at her estate sale was Frances Turner, her niece, the daughter of James and Ann Reeves Turner and John F. McDaniel, the second husband of her sister Polly.
