George is mentioned in the will of his brother Thomas Reve.

The Visitations of Essex by Raven in 1612 and by Owen and Lilly in 1634 both list a chart of the Reve family. This information was probably gathered from George's brother Francis Reeve as he was the primary resident of Essex from this family which the chart focuses on. The chart shows the following on George:
  • (1612) George Reve of Mollenden parke in com. Suffolke Gent. sonne and heire (married) Amye, daugh. to George Feake of Wyghton in Com. Norffolke gent.
  • (1634) George Reve of Mollenden (Mowenden) Park gent. eldest son. (married) Anne (dau. to George) Feake of Wyghton co. Suff. (? co. Norfolk) gent.

The 1612 visitation states George and Amye had children William, George, Rose, and Ann. The 1634 visitation lists only William and George. But it states that William, eldest son, married Margery Spaine and had children: Francis (s. p.), Margery, and Amy; and George of Mollenden (Mowenden) gent. who married Anne and had sons George and Charles.

There may be a reference to George's son George and grandson Charles in the will of Francis Reeve when he mentions "my kindsman Charles Reeve my nephewe George Reeves sonne."
