In the name of God Amen the ninth daye of Maye in the yeare of oure lord god 1624 I Robert Reves of Winborne minster in the Cowntie of Dorsett beinge very weake and sicke in bodie but perfecte and whole in minde and memory I give most hunble thankes to god therefore doe constitute and ordaine my last will and testament in manner and forme as followethImprimis I bequeath my soule into the handes of god my Creator hopinge and stedfastly belevinge to be saved by the all sufficient death and passion of Christ my saviour and my bodie to be buried in the parrishe Church of Wimborne minster aforesaide
Item I Bequeath to my eldest daughter Marie Reves the some of twenty powndes
Item to my daughter Anne Reves the some of tenn powndes to my sonne William Reeves forty shillings And to my sonne Nicholas Reeves fyve powndes
Item to my sonne Thomas Reeves fyve powndes
Item to my sonne Robert Reves fyve powndes
Item I give and bequeath unto the poore of the parishe of Winborne aforesaid tenn shillings
All the rest of my goodes and chattels moveable and unmoveable or whatsoever else apartaineth unto me I doe give nad bequeath to my wife Joane Reeves who I make full and whol executrix of this my last will and testament and doe appoint Mr James Dewy of Winborne and Mr George Barnes of Winborne aforesaid to be my lawfull overseer to see this my last will and testament performed and in consideration of theire paines taken therein I doe bequeath to each of them twelve pence.
In witness whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and seale the daie and yeare first above written Annoq Regis Anglia vecesimo secundo et Scotia quinquagessimo Octavo
