Transcript

Mr. James Ryves last will Mr. George Savage oweth him twentye five pound five shillings sixe pence. He gave John Fussell his fower horses and all his cloathes except one old suite and twenty shillings or thirty shillings wch he gave to his servant Edward, his new sword he lent to Mr Robt FitzJames. And he appointed John Fussell his executor. He said Robert Browne Esqr oweth him twentie pounds this above written James Ryves published to be his will the ixth of November 1632, and then acknowledged that he owed to John Fussell fiftie pounds for wch he was to have the lease of his land in lieu of it witnesses hereto Edward Farell the mke of Alice Mopson Dorothy Baker mer mke

I John Shelbery came psentlie after the makinge of the will, and the witnesses set there hands to it in my prsence

Commentary

This will does not give any location for James's residence, but the will was probated in London in the Prerogative Court of Canterbury.
