In the name of God Amen I Oliver Reeve of Bradwell next the Sea in ye County of Essex Gent being sicke and weake in body but of sound and perfect mind and memory Praise be therefore given to Almighty God doe make and ordaine this my psent last will and Testament in manner and forme following (that is to say) first and principally I commend my soul into the hands of Almighty God hoping through the merites death and passion of my saviour Jesus Christ, to have full and free pardon and forgiveness of all my sins and to inherit everlasting life and my and my Body I commit to the Earth, to be decently buried at the discretion of my executrix & hereafter named and as touching ye disposition of all such temporall estate as it hath pleased Almighty God to bestow upon and I give and dispose thereof as followeth
First I will that my debts and funeral charges shall be paid and discharged
Item I give devise and Bequeath unto my loveing kinswoman the daughter of John Reeve deceased late of Tolson Beckingham in Essex the sume of Twenty Pound of lawfull money of England to be paid unto her att the day of marriag or one and twenty years of age which shall first happen
Item I give devise and Bequeath unto my Brother Reeves son John Reeve the sume of five and twenty pounds of lawfull money of England to be paid unto him within six monthes next after my decease
Item I give devise and bequeath unto Oliver Reeve the sone of John Reeve the sume of twenty pounds of lawfull money of England to be paid with in twelve moneth next after my decease
Item I give and bequeath unto my loveing daughter Mary Reeve the sume of six hundred pounds of good and lawfull money of England to be paid out in lands for ye use of my daughter and if my said daughter dye before marriage or before shee accomplish the age of one and twenty years that then the money of land shall be and remayne to the use of my loveing wife Mary Reeve & her heires for ever
Item I give devise and bequeath unto my loveing wife Mary Reeve the sume of five hundred pounds of good and lawfull money of England and if my said wife depart this world first then her legacie to my daughter Mary Reeve and all the rest of my personall estate goods and chattels whatsoever I give and bequeath to my aforesd wife Mary Reeve whom I do make whole executrix of this my last will and testament and I do hereby revoke disanul and make void all former wills and testaments by me heretofore made. In witness whereof I the sd Oliver Reeve to this my last will and Testament being contained in two sheets of paper have sett my hand and seale this fifth day of Aprill in the foure and Thirtieth yeare of the Reigne of or Soveragne Lord Charles the Second of England Scotland France and Ireland King Defender of ye faith &c Anno Dom 1682
