In the name of god Amen this one & twentieth day of August in the year of our Lord According to the computation of the church of England one thousan six hundred eighty & two I Mary Reeves of St St James parish in the towne of Colchester in the County of Essex widdow being sick in body butt sound in minde & memory I thank god doe make this my last will & testament in forme following First I comitt my soule to Allmighty god that gave it me hopeing for salvation through Jesus Christ my Redeemer secondy I comitt my body to the earth desiring itt may be decently buried by my executor heerafter named. And for those goods that god in his mercy hath lent me I doe give as followeth: that is to say I doe give & bequeath unto my loving friend Ambrose Flannar of St Buttolphs parish in Colchester aforesaid all my goods & chattells that doe any ways belong or appertaine unto me ether within dores or without to his sole use and beniffitt provided he the said Ambrose Flannar doe and shall pay my debts & funerall charges and after my said debts soe being paid if then any overplus shall remaine my desire is that overplus be reserved & given to my sonn William Reeve for his use & sole benefitt for ever And I doe constitute ordaine and appointe my aforesaid loving friend Ambrose Flannar my sole executor to this my last will in wittness whereof I have hereunto sett my hand & seale the day & year above writtenther mark Mary Reeves

Then Ambrose Flanner executor of Mary Reeves was sworn well & truly to execute &c before me Wll? Shellon? Sur
