Know all men by these presents that I Edward Reeves of Rumley Creek in Baltimore County in the province of Maryland planter am holden and firmly bound unto George Conningam of the same County and province Cooper in the full and Just sum of Five Thousand pounds of good sound Merchantable Tobacco in casque to be paid to the said George Conningam or his attorney Exrs Admrs or assigns to the which payment well & truly To be made I bind myself & my heirs Exrs Admrs firmly by these presents In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seale the 3d Day of November Anno Dom 1685 in the 10th year of the Dominion of the right Honble CharlesThe Condition of the above written obligation is such that of the above bound Edward Reeves his heirs Exrs Admrs and Assigns and every of them do and shall from time to time and at all times hereafter well and truly observer performe fullfill & keep all and singular the covenants grants articles clauses and agreements mentioned specified and contained ina certaine Indenture bearing ? date with these presents made between the above bound Edward Reeves of the one part and the above named George Conningam of the other part which on the part & behalf of the said Edward Reeves his heirs Exrs and Admrs are and ought to be pformed observed fulfilled done and kept and that in and by all things according to the True intent and meaning of the sid recited Indenture in all points & conditions & respectively then this ? above written obligation to be void and of None effect otherwise to stand and remaine in full force and Vertue
