Transcript

The Last Will & Testamt of Mark Reeve, being in pfect mind memory & remembrance praised be the Lord. This 10th day of ye 9th moth Novembr in ye year of (?) 1694 -
first of all comitting & comending my souls (?) to God who Gave it having faith that thorou the merritorious working of the holy Spirrett thoroe Jesus Christ my Saviour, I shall obtain a good resurrection - my body I comitt to the Ground to be buried in such order as my beloved wife thincks convenient
2dly I doo Give to my son Charles one hundred acres of land & to my son Mark one hundred acres of land both of it to lye at the furthor and of my land at ye backneck and to be equally divided in quantity & quality at ye descretion of my wife and then my son Charles to have is first choyce.
Item I give to my son Charles one cow when he attains to he age of eighteen years
Item I give to my son Joseph my now dweling house and all ye land I have upon this neck of Chohansey after the decease of his mother
Item I give to my loving wife all the remaining part of my land upon the back neck
Item I give to my wife all my stock & (?) except the cow aforesaid both within doors & wtout she paying all my debt
Item I do make & ordain my dearly beloved wife Ann my sole executrix of this my last will & Testamt revoaking all other writt & wills whtsoever As wittnesse my hand & seale ye day & year above sd
