Know all men by these presents that we Edward Gibbs Sherrif of the County of New Castle and Richard Reynolds of the said place are held and firmly bound unto the Honble William Penn absolute Proprietor of the Province of Pennsilvania & (?) anexed in the summe of one hundred pound (?) mony to be paid to the said William Penn his successours and assigns for which payment well & truly to be made we bund us our heirs executors & admrs and every of them for and in the whole joyntly & severally firmly by these presents sealed with our seal Dated at New Castle the 29th day of May in the eight year of the reign of King William over England &c Anno Dmni 1696The condition of this obligation is such that if the above bounded Edward Gibbs Administrator of all and singular the goods, chattells and credits of Peter Reeves deceased doe make or cause to be made a true and perfect Inventory of all and singular the goodds chattells and credits of the said deceased which have or shall come to his hands possession or knowledge, &the same so made exhibit unto the Registry within forty days, and the same goods and chattells administer according to law and do make a true account of his said administration when thereunto required, then this obligation to be void & of none effect or else to be and remain in full force and virtue
