Transcript

The Depso of Thomas Reeves aged about 52 years or thereabouts showeth that ye depont knoweth that Michaell Markquing was possessed 10th Acres of land in his life time & by his last will & testamt he gave his maine plantation to his younger sonne Barnaby Marquiney, but after his desd the said was joined to be escheat & I haveing the land in my custody holding of them by my wife Elizabeths right & possession 10th her aforesaid Husband, Michael Markquiny gave he for her life tyme, but there was agreemt made between ye depont Jno Marquiney, that he should enforce an escheat upon his Broth land in his name, in behalf of his Brother Barnaby beranse ye aforesaid Barnaby Markquing was not of age and ye Depont hath pd ye full ? of ye composision for ye escheat in Barnaby Marquineys behalf & this further sd depont will certifie & ? upon oath in open cot & further saith not

The dep of Eliza Reeves aged about sixty years or thereabouts ? that ye ? knoweth that my afors husband Michaell Marquiny was possed a parcel of land, by his last will & Testamt he gave his mannor plantation to his younger sonne Barnaby Marquiny but after my Husbands decease the Land was found to be escheat wherefore my sonne John Marquiny, enter an escheat upon his Brother Barnabys Maryquinys land in his own name being in ye behalf of his Brother Barnaby Marquiny, because that ye aforesaid Barnaby was not of age, and this farr ye Depnt knowes, that my Husband Thomas Reeves, hath sd Composition in my Barnabys behalf that ye Depont is willing to testifie upon oath in open Cot & further saith not
