Summary

In the Name of God Amen I Wiltshire Reeve the elder of Hubbards Hall in the parrish of Harlow in the County of Essex Gentleman being indisposed in my health but of sound & disposeing mind & memory praised be God for it do make and ordain my last willand testamt in manner and forme following that is to say Ffirst & principally I comend my soule into the lands of Almighty God my Creator hopeing for salvation in by & through the alone meritts of Jesus Christ my blessed saviour Redeemer and my body I committ to the earth to be decently buried att the discrection of my executrix herein after named and as for such worldly estate as it hath pleased God of his bounty & good uses to bestow upon me I do give devise order & dispose thereof in manner & forme following That is to say
First I doe order and direct that all my just & reall debts I shall owe att the time of my decease shall be well & truly paid by my exectrix herein after named Esxceipting the Debt for which the taxifull messuages called Hubbards Hall & the lands & premises thereto belonging now stands mortaged.
Alsoe I doe give devise unto my deare & loveing wife Joane ...mannor of Hubbards Hall in the parrish of Harlow in the County of Essex wherein I now dwell...and alsoe that messuage or tenemt called...Brooke house with a shopp thereto belonging...in Harlow...and after the expiration of the said term I do give...all...to Witshire Reeve my eldest sonne to his heirs & assigns for ever (except the north end of my said mansion or dwelling house...
Alsoe I doe give & devise unto John Reeve my second sonne...
and the reversion & reversions remainder & remainders thereof unto Ffrancis Reeve my third sonne & to his heires...
Alsoe I do give & bequeath unto Judith Reeve my oldest daughter the sum of three hundred pounds...
Alsoe I do give & bequeath unto Anne Reeve my second Daughter the sum of three hundred pounds...
Alsoe I doe give & devise unto Jane Reeve my youngest daughter...my twoe messuages houses or tenemts... in Ffoster Streete in this parrish of Harlow...
And I I doe give unto my loveing sisters Letitia Wickstead and Anne Spademan to each of them a Ring of the Value of twenty shillings a peice
ALsoe I do give & devise all my plantatons lands tenem. hereditamts Reall & personall estates whatsoever in whatseoever the same doth consist att or neere James River or elsewhere in Virginnia in the parts beyond the seas and all my estate & interest therein Unto my sister Susan now Susan Mareen (or by whatsoever other name knowne) now or late residing in Virginnia aforesaid...
I do make constitute & appoynt my said Dear & Loveing wife Joane Reeve full sole exectrix of this my last Will & Testamt...

And whereas also I the said Wiltshire Reeve the elder now am in & by one certaine obligatton bearing date the one & twentieth day of September Anno Dm 1704 held firmely bound in the penall sutue of One Hundred pounds of lawfull money of England to Thomas Spademan of London apothecary & Anne his wife my sister ...
In witnesse whereof I the said Wiltshire Reeve the testator sett my hand & seale this thirteenth day of September Anno Dm 1707 and in the sixth yeare of the raigne of our soveraigne Lady Anne by the Grace of God of Great Britaine France & Ireland Queene Defender of the faith &called
