To all Christian people to whome these presents shall come Greeting Know Yee that I Thomas Turrill of ye Town of Southold In ye County of Suffolke In ye colony of New York In America yeoman for and In consideration of ye full sume of twelve pounds current money of the said colony to me in hand paid at & before ye sealing & Delivery here of by James Reeve of ye Town & County aforesaid yeoman the receipt where of I ye said Thomas Turrill doe hereby acknowledge my self therewith fully satisfied, and thereof & therefrom doe clearly acquit exonerate and Discharge the said James Reeve his Heirs Executs & administrats for ever by these presents have given granted bargained aliened sold enfeoffed and confirmed, and by these presents doe fully freely and absolutely give grant bargaine alien sell enfeoff & confirme unto ye said James Reeve & to his Heirs & assignes for ever a certaine percell of land Scituate lying and being at mattetuck In ye Town Ship aforesaid being by computation four acres be it more or less and bounded on ye west, north and south by ye land of him the said James Reeve; with all & singular the Rights members proffits commodityes hereditaments immunityes priviledges and appurtenances, together with all my estate right title interest possession property claime & demand of in or to ye same or any part thereof any manner of waies whatsoever appertaining or belonging to have & to hold the said parcell of land with all & singular the premises and appurtenances above mentioned & every part & percell thereof unto him ye said James Reeve his Heirs and assignes, to ye only proper use and behoofs of him ye said James Reeve his Heirs & assignes for ever, and I ye said Thomas Turrill for my selfe & my Heirs doe promise the said percell of land; with all singuler the premises and appurtenances above mentioned & every part thereof unto him ye said James Reeve his Heirs & assignes; and to his and their own use & behoofs against me my Heirs executs & administrats & assignes; and against all and every other person & persons whatsoever lawfully claiming by from or under me, them, or any of them shall & will well & truly warrant and for ever defend by these presents In wittness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & fixed my seale on ye second day of April and in the year of our lord Christ one thousand Seven hundred & twelve.Thomas Turrell
