In the Name of God, Amen I Robert Moss of Essex County being Sick & weak but of Sound & perfect memory Prais to almighty God for it doth make this to be my Last Will Imprimis first I recommend my Soul to Almighty God who gave it me and hope through my Savior it may Enter into the Kingdom of Heaven and my Body to be decently buried in manner as my Extrix & Execut. Shall think fit of as will be after mentioned – Item after my debts and funeral charges are paid my will & desire is that my personall Estate and negro’s them or the value be equally divided between my well beloved wife Martha Moss and my Children named Thomas, William, Richard, John, Robert, Ann & ffrancis Moss And my Land to be equally Divided between all my Sons as before named only my wife to have the third part of my Said Lands during her natural life the Dwelling Plantation included with - - Item I do Constitute and appoint my well beloved wife Martha Moss & my Eldest Son Thomas Moss to be my Executrs of this my last Will & Testament Revoking all former wills by me made Given under my hand & Seal this the Twenty fifth day of November Anno 1713.
