WILLIAM BULL, plat dated 2 Mar. 1705/6. Whereas the Rt. Hon. WILLIAM, Lord Craven, Palatine, & the Lords Proprs. on 4 Jan. 1704, witnessed by Gov. NATHANIEL JOHNSON, NICHOLAS TROTT & JAMES MOORE, granted COL. WILLIAM HAZZARD, SR., the above named 147 a., now HAZZARD sells to REEVES.

AMBROSE REEVE(REEVES), chirurgeon, to LEWIS JONES, clerk & MARGARET his wife, all of Beaufort, Granville Co., in consideration of L 5 & the trust reposed in him, releases to JONES 500 a. English measure on Port Royall Island, Granville Co., bounding E on Dicks Back Creek; N on ALEXANDER MACKEY; W on vacant land; S on KNATCHBULLS land (ROSATCHBULL). Whereas by L & R, 27 & 28 Oct. 1735 LEWIS JONES & MARGARET his wife conveyed to AMBROSE REEVE the above named 500 a. in trust to the use of LEWIS & MARGARET JONES during their lives & REEVE agreed that he would, at any time, convey the plantation to JONES & whereas JONES & his wife on 28 Oct. last renounced all title to the land & joined in a precipe concord or fine for that purpose, MARGARET voluntarily consenting, & quit claimed to REEVE; now REEVE releases the land to them.

Judgment
GEORGE II to all people. Know ye that amongst the pleas inrolled at Westminster in 8 days of
St. Hillary & in 15 days of St. Hillary, before ALEXANDER DENTON, ESQ., SIR JOHN FORTESCUE ALAND, Knigh; & THOMAS REEVE, ESQ.; & on the morrow of the Purification of the blessed Virgin Mary, & in 8 days of the Purification of the blessed Virgin Mary, before SIR THOMAS REEVE, Knight, & his brethren Justices of the Court of Common Bench of the Term of St. Hillary, in the 9th year of our reign, in the 1310th roll it is thus contained; Middlesex, to wit: SAMUEL HORSEY, ESQ., late of Westminster, in the Co. of Middlesex, otherwise called SAMUEL HORSEY, ESQ., of Whitehall, in the Co. of Middlesex, was summoned to answer JAMES GASCOIGNE'S plea that he render to him L 311:17 which he owes to & unjustly detains from him & whereupon the said JAMES, by RICHARD BANKS, his attorney, complains that whereas SAMUEL HORSEY on 16 Mar. 1735 at Westminster gave JAMES GASCOIGNE a bond for L 311:17 payable on demand which he failed to pay after several requests, to the damage of said JAMES L 20 & he brings suit. SAMUEL by his attorney, WILLIAM MIDFORD defends, but MILFORD as not instructed by HORSEY to give answer. It is adjudged that JAMES recover from SAMUEL.

WILLIAM BULL; W on RICHARD CAPERS; SW on WILLIAM ADAMS; SE on marsh opposite the Hunting Islands. Whereas CHARLES FURREAU, planter, of St. Helena Parish, was granted said 270 a. on 13 Feb. 1753 & became indebted to FRANCIS STUART, merchant, of Beaufort, Port Royal for L 1820 currency; & whereas ANN STUART, administratrix, & HENRY STUART & LEWIS REEVE, administrators of the estate of FRANCIS STUART obtained a judgment with costs against MARY FURREAU, administratrix of CHARLES FURREAU's estate, & the P.M. was ordered to sell the above land at auction; now he sells to FRIPP.
