Transcript

In the name of God Amen I John Reve of Thundersly in the County of Essex being sick and weak, but of sound and perfect minde & memory praise be therefore given to Almighty God do make and ordaine this my last will and Testament in manner and form following that is to say,
First and principally I comend my soule into the hands of Almighty God hoping through the merits of my saviour Jesus Christ to have free pardon and forgiveness of all my sins and to inherit everlasting life and my body I commit to the Earth to be decently buried att the discretion of my executor hereafter named and as touching ye dispossionof all such temporal estate as it hath pleased allmighty God to bestow upon me, I give and dispose thereof as followeth
First I will that my debts and funeral charges shall be paid and discharged
Itm I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Mary Reve the sum of thre hundred pounds to be payd att the day of age or the day of marriage and my will & pleaser is that my Daughter Mary Reve shall not be chargd with any thing, for her board or scholling with any mater or matters but that the sayd sum shall be payd att one of the times above mentiond
All the rest and residue of my personal estate goods and chatles whatsoever I doe give and bequeathe unto my loving wife Agnis Reve full and sol executor of this my last will and testament
And I do herby make revoke disanul and make void all former wills and testaments by me hertofore made In witness whereof I the sayd John Reve to this my last will and Testament being contained of a sheet apaper sett my hand and seale the 30 day of Septembr in the year of our Lord God 1720
More over my will and pleasure is that my prentice Abraham Robison shall have his inde? in agoar? after my decease with his serving my executer that year and they to dublesute? him att the end therof
