IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN I Tho.s Sthreshly of Essex County being very sick and week (sic), but of Sound & perfect memory praise be given to almighty god for ye. Same doe make ordaine Constitute & appoint this my last will and Testament in manner and forme following viz.t Item I give and bequeath unto my well beloved daughter Tammezin Upshaw a ring of fifteen Shillings price for with reason she hath rec.d her part of my Estate alredy. I give and bequeath unto my well beloved daughter Sarah Sthreshly my negro man named Will to her and her hirs for ever. Item I give and bequeth unto my well beloved Daughter Bettey Sthreshly my negro woman named Jane to her and her heirs for ever Item I give and bequeath unto my well beloved son William Sthreshly my negro man named Dick to him and his hirs for ever. Item I give and bequeth unto my well beloved Daughter Mary Sthreshly my negro garle (sic) named Dye for hur and hur hirs for ever. Item I give and bequeth unto my well beloved Daughter Hannah Sthreshly my negro garle named Sue to hur and hur hirs for ever. Item I give and bequeth unto my well beloved son Tho.s Sthreshly my negro boy named Robin to him and his hiers for ever. Item I lend unto my well beloved wife five negros Dureing hur Natural life (to wit) Dambridg, Oxford, Sam Phillis, and Great Dye & after hur decease to be Devided amongst my Children also I give hur my rideing horse and Side Sadle to hur and her hirs for ever. Item I give and bequeath unto my well beloved son William this one half of the land I now dwell on to be at the upper end of it and after my wifes Dece. The other part to him and his heirs for ever I give and bequeth unto my son Tho.s Sthreshly four hundred acres of Good land for with ye Mony to purches it, is to be raised out of the profits of my Estate, & to be (indecipherable) pai.d at the discreation of my Executors my desire is that my father shall have Eight pounds pr year out of his Estate for a mentanance and in case it is more than he has occasion of it shall be aded to my Estate again Dureing his natural life I give and bequeth unto my well beloved wife and Seven Children (to wit) Sarah, Bettey, William, Mary, Hannah Hannah (sic) and Tho.s) all the remainder of my Estate both rial and personal to be Eaquelly Devided amongst them and in case Either of my Children die without hirs then his or there part be Eaqueally Devided amongst the rest of my Children. My will and desire is that my well beloved wife shall be my hole and sole Executrix of this my last will and Testament as Witness my hand and Seal this Seventh day of Aprile one thousand Seven hundred and thirty fiveSigned Sealed and delivered
