In the Name of Almighty God Amen. I Deliverance Reeve Widow and Relict of Joseph Reeves deceased and formerly Widow and Relict of William Whitehair deceased of Southold in the County of Suffolk in the province of New York being in reasonable Health of Body and of sound and perfect mind & memory thanks be given to God for the same and calling to mind the uncertainty of this transitory Life do make ordain and declare these to be my last Will and Testament in manner and form followingfirst and principally I commend my soul into the hands of Almighty God who gave it me hoping through the merits Death and passion of my saviour Jesus Christ to have full and free pardon and forgiveness of all my sins and to inherit eternal Ife and my Body I commit to the Earth to be decently buried at the Discretion of my Executor herein after named and touching the Disposition of all such temporal Estates as it hath pleased God for beyond my Deserts to bestow upon me I give and dispose thereof in manner & form following
First I will that all my just Debts and funeral charges be paid
Heree? I give bequeath and devise unto Mordecai Homan Junr of Southold aforesaid son of my Brother Mordecai Moman all those lands tenements & Hereditaments situated & being in southold aforesaid bounded on the southward by the Highway on the Westward by the lands of William Benjamin on the Eastward by the lands of William Cox and so running from the said High Way Northwardly to a black oak sapling standing in a Hollow marked on the south side thereof with the Letters MH on the north side thereof with the Letters WW containing by computation sixty acres be it more or less all which lands & premises did heretofore belong unto William Whitehair aforesd deceased and also all my meadow ground situate & being in the County of Suffolk aforesaid and which did also formerly belong unto the said William Whitehair with its Hereditaments and appurtenances To have and to hold unto the said Mordecai Homan his Heirs and assigns forever
Item I give bequeath and devise unto my sister Esther Wells all those lands tenements & hereditaments situate in Southold aforesaid bounded on the southward of the lands above devised unto Mordecai Homan Eastward by the lands of William Cox Westward by the lands of William Benjamin and so running northwardly to the sound all which lands & premises did heretofore belong unto the said William Whitehair deceased my former husband. To have and to hold unto the said Esther Wells her heirs and assigns forever
Item I give and bequeath unto my sister Easther Wells a Desk and all my wearing apparel both woolin and linnen to her and her children forever
Item I give and bequeath unto Eddy Homan Daughter to Mordecai Homan a good feather Bed and Bedding and a case of Draws and all the Rest Residue & Remainder of my personal Estate I give and bequeath in manner following that is to say all the rest residue and remainder of my personal estate unto my sister Esther Wells and Mordecai Homan Junr of Southold aforesaid son of my Brother Mordecai Homan to be devided equally between them
And Lastly do constitute make and appoint my nephew Mordecai Homan and William Wells my Executors of this my Will & Testament desiring the same may be performed according to the trye interest and meaning thereof In testimony whereof I the said Deliverance Reeve have hereunto set my Hand & Seal the thirteenth day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and forty.

George Clinton Esqr Captain General and Governour in chief of the province of New York and the territories thereon depending in America and Vice Admiral of the same To all to whom these presents shall come or may concern Greeting Know ye that at Suffolk County on the day of the date hereof before Brinley Sylvester Esqr being thereunto delegated and appointed; the last Will and Testament of Deliverance Reeves deceased (a copy whereof is hereunto annexed) was proved and now approved and allowed by me; the said deceased having whilst she lived and at the time of her Death Goods Rights and Credits in divers places within this province, By means whereof the full Disposition of all and singular the Goods Rights and Credits of the said deceased and the granting Admon of them As also the hearing of Account Calculation or Reckoning and the final Discharge and Dismission from the same unto my solely and not unto any inferior Judge are manifestly known to belong and the Administration & all and singular the Goods Rights and Credits of the said deceased and her Last Will and Testament in any manner of ways concerning was granted unto Mordecai Homan Junr and William Wells Junr the Executors in the said Will named Chiefly o well & truely administring the same and of making a true and perfect inventory thereof and exhibiting it unto the Registry of the prerogative Court in the Secretaries office of this province at or before the fourteenth day of August next insuing and of rendring a just and true account calculation or reckoning thereof when thereunto required. The said Mordecai Homan and William Wells having been duely sworn to the true Execution and performance of the said Will In testimony whereof I have caused the prerogative seal of the province of New York to be hereunto affixed this fourteenth day of February One thousand seven hundred & forty three.
