In the Name of God Amen I Mathew Reve of Hatfield Peverell In ye County of Essex Barber being aged and infirm in bodey but Blessed be God of sound and desposing mind and memory do make and decare this my last will and Testament in maner and form following hereby revoaking and makeing null and voyd all former and other wills by me at any time heretofore made iether by word or by writing and as to such worldly estate as it hath pleased God to bles me with I give and dispose thereof as follows that is to say, First and principally I give my bodey to ye Earth to be dessently Buried at the Discresion of my executors herein after named and my soull to Almmighty God hoping in and through the intersession of his dear sun and my saviour to find forgiveness for all my sins. Imprimmis I give to my loving son John Reve all that my hous that John Cannon houlds with ye field and gardens there unto belongin containing one acre more or less to him and his aiers for ever but my desier is yt if my sum John Reve dies without issue lafulley begoton or to begotten by him my sun John Reve I give and bequeth ye said hous and field and garden to my Granddaughter Sarah Harlock and heir ayers for ever Imprimis I give to my loving sun William Reve all that my dwelling hous which I live in with ye barn stable brew hous orchard gardens out houses to him and his aiers for ever, but my desire is yt if my sun William Reve dies without issue lafully gotten or to be gotten by my sun Willm Reve I give and bequeath it to my loving daughter Katherin Reve and to heir aiers for ever, I give to my lovin sun Willm Reve all yt field called Raley? Croft and the pitell called almhous pilele? button to Whitham road belongin to ye Pryory Coart & Liekwise give and bequath unto my lovin sun Willm Reve all them two fields lying Between John Tyrolly Gents field and Esqr Dabbs fields belonging to Hattfield Beary Court to him and his ayers for ever but my desire is yt if my sun Willm Reve deys with out issue gotten or to be gotten by him my sun Willm Reve yt these field above menshoned I give and bequeath to my daughter Katherin Reve and to heir ayers for ever Imprimis I give to my loving Daughter Katherin Reve all that my dwelling houses called by ye name of ye drum belongin to plushey Court now in the Ocipaccon of Willm Reve and James Crow and ye other part yt is emptey late held by Lorance with ye orchard and gardens there unto belongin to heir and heirs ayers for ever but my desire is yt if my daughter Katherin Reve should dey without issue I give and bequeth ye said hous or houses to my Granddaughter Mary Reve and to heir ayers for ever, Imprimis I give to Willm Reve one low and my mair? and cart and to my daughter Katherin Reve one kow. Imprimis I give to my sun Willm Reve and Mary Reve and Katherin Reve all my houseoll hoods to be equally parted between them exceptin ye bead yt I ley on yt I give to my sun John Reve with he bolster blankt one pr sheets certins & what belongs to it and for my ready money and deats I give to John Reve and William Reve and Mary Harlock and Katherin Reve to be equally devided between them and ye Crop of Corm that it plesin God to bles me with that is now Growin I give and bequeth to my loving sun Willm Reve and Katherin Reve to be equally devided betweent them my son Robart Harlock and my sun Willm Reve I nominate and appoint to be full and holl executors of this my Last Will and Testament in witnes whereof I have set my hand and seall In the presnce of
