Know all men by these presents that we Francis Reeves John Jones and Richard Reaves Senior of the County of Sussex are held and firmly bound unto Timothy Reaves of the County of Prince George in the Sum of one thousand pounds current money to be paid to the said Timothy His Executors Administrators or assigns to which paiment will and truly to be made we bind ourselves & our heirs executors and administrators jointly and severally firmly by these presents sealed with our seals and dated this 20th day of January 1755.

Whereas the above named Timothy Reaves at the special request of the above bound Frances Reaves became bound as her security with Christopher Tatum and William Pikway to the Justice of Surry County for her faithful administration for the Estate of George Reaves deceased by a certain Bond remaining among the Records the said County of Surry may appear now the condition of the above obligation is such that if the above bound Francis Reives shall from time to time and at all times hereafter fully and clearly acquit exonerate and discharge or otherwise well and sufficiently save and keep harmless and indemnifie the said Timothy his heirs executors and administrators of and from all action and actions suit and suits and of and from all sum and sums of money duties and demands whatsoever which shall or may at any time hereafter happen to be demanded brought or cominced or recovered of or from the said Timothy his heirs executors and administrators for or by reason of his being bounds as security as aforesaid and of and from all costs charges damages and demands whatsoever which shall or may happen or arise by reason of the same premisses shall then the above obligation to be void or else to remain in full pre

This Bond was proved to be the act and deed of the thereto subscribed Frances Reaves, John Jones and Richard Reaves by the Oaths of William Reaves and George Reaves the witnesses thereto and by the court ordered to be recorded.
